New chiropractic stuff

Chiropractic News Today - Read Full Story Here

Sure, there’s a lot of value in things that withstand the test of time (like certain techniques and sturdy pieces of equipment), but the reality is that, with new research being conducted daily, every profession is constantly changing.

If you’re not keeping up, you’re probably going to get run over by your competitor.

This requires being aware of what chiropractic instruments can help you excel in your field and how to tell if they are worth your hard earned money. It is also helpful to know how to use them as a write off or tax benefit.

My Never-Ending Pain in the Head

Dude.. I call you dude whether you are a man or woman, a generic term meaning friend.. So, dude.. guess what? My headache is gone!!

Let me back up a bit. I have chronic migraine headaches. The kind that make people jump out the window. You think you have migraines? Try my 298 day headache. No kidding, 24 hours a day for almost a year. Yes, I wanted to jump out the window but I live in a one story house.

It went away after a series of treatments at Integrated Spinal Solutions in Reno. I met Dr. Daniel Welch from a friend and he, a long time chiropractor recommended cervical spinal decompression. I had no idea what the heck he was talking about, but I assure you, it worked for me. Have you or is anyone you know like me? Are they suffering in pain day after day, pill after pill? Tell them about Integrated Spinal Solutions in Reno, On Longley Lane.

Reno Chiropractic - Your Choice

Picking a chiropractor is not an easy task. You want someone who knows what the heck they are doing of course, but you also want someone who listens to you. A chiropractor that doesn't listen is a fool and a dangerous one at that.

I know what its like to need to find a chiropractor. I have been there, done that. I was lucky enough to come across a wonderful chiropractor three years ago, when I found Integrated Spinal Solutions on Longley Lane. At this Reno chiropractic office, you will find not one, but several talented chiropractors. You can come right in. Appointments are appreciated, but they are not required. We understand sometimes, you just hurt.

When you go to this chiropractic clinic, you will experience real chiropractic care. No mumbo-jumbo, real chiropractic medicine. They also are the most popular chiropractic clinic in Reno offering spinal decompression

Can't turn my neck, doc!

You are supposed to be able to turn your neck to the left and right, equal to shoulder. If you can't do that, you are experiencing limited range. That can be fixed very easily. The same thing goes for tilting your head up and down. If you can't put your head allllll the way back, and then bring it back forward and rest your chin on your chest, you have limited range. Once again, a chiropractor can fix that very easily, with spinal decompression, or traditional chiropractic manipulation.

There are only seven bones in the neck, but they can easily get out of whack. A simple exam by your chiropractor can find out what is out, and what you need to do to fix it. There are many ways to adjust your neck, a chiropractor is the only person who should attempt to crack someone's neck. Never crack your own neck; a saw a young man in a critical care unit who did that and gave himself a stroke at the age of 23/

Leaving it alone is not the right answer either, that can lead to a number of issues. If you are having neck problems, see a chiropractor right away.

Headaches and Chiropractic

When you have headaches all the time, you have zero quality of life. This blog entry is for those of us who have lived with long term headaches, and what we do about them. If you have had the good fortune to end your headaches with whatever cure, please tell us on this blog page.

For most of my life I have suffered with headaches. I tried every drug, every treatment, whatever I could do to make my headaches go away. But, nothing seemed to work. I got relief at the chiropractor, but the headaches seemed to eventually come back. I think I may be one of those people who live with headaches.

What about you? What do you do for migraine, or sinus headaches. Of course, I know they are different, but you can't believe how incredibly bad my sinus headaches have become.

I recommend cervical decompression for headaches, I also use Ice therapy, massage, and if I can sleep. What do you do?

Pain in the back?

A little pain in the back, once in a while is nothing to worry about, but when you are in pain for weeks and even months at a time you have to do something about it. I suggest the chiropractor.

In Caughlin Ranch, Dr. Xavier Martinez operates the Integrated Spinal Solutions clinic, a chiropractic clinic that features spinal decompression and traditional chiropractic treatment. On the other side of town in South Reno, I would recommend Dr. Daniel Welch, who also practices chiropractic care in Round Mountain,

Don't wait for your pain to go away. You don't need a pill, but you do need to address the cause of the "pain". You see, pain is only felt when your nerve endings register something is "wrong". Waiting for the "wrong" to go away on its own, is, well, wrong.

Do something about the pain in your back today, at Integrated Spinal Solutions, a Reno Nevada Chiropractic Clinic.

What to do when you're in a car accident.

We've talk a bit about car accidents and what you should do. But I would like to know the facts from you about what happened in your last car accident, and if you chose to use a chiropractor for treatment of your injuries.

Take a moment to think back, and then use this page to post about your experience. My last accident was a little fender bender, and I did not seek treatment right away. I had thrown my neck out and I didn't connect the headache I was having, and the accident. I went to the chiropractor about three weeks later, he asked what happened, and when I said I did not know he went through a list of questions on of which was I in a car accident.

Let us know what happened to you. And thanks for visiting Chiropractic Today.

My neck hurts. What do I do?

Neck pain is nothing to ignore. You should be able to move your head around with lots of mobility. It is supposed to go forward and backward, and side to side. When it hurts to do that, you need a chiropractor.

In Reno, Nevada, I recommend Integrated Spinal Solutions. They have an office in Caughlin Ranch, and one in South Reno.

Here are some questions for today's bloggers... Where does you neck pain occur? Have you taken any meds for the pain? How long have to been doing that? Does it take it away completely? How long does it last?

Have to tried chiropractic care before. Please comment below on all of these topics. and thanks for visiting Chiropractic Today.

What is spinal manipulation?

Going to the chiropractor may come with a crack. That's the noise you hear when you get adjusted. They don't call it cracking your back anymore. They call it spinal manipulation.

Spinal manipulation is discussed in detail on this page posted by a Reno Chiropractor. If you have had this done to you, please comment below.

Dr. Kimberly Nelson is a Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic

Chronic migraine headaches can ruin your life. I know. I have had my share of them. One actually lasted 297 days. Pills did not help. Nothing would kill the pain until I found cervical decompression at my chiropractor's office.

I had never heard of such a thing, but bottom line, it worked. I must have had some sort of pinch in my neck that even traditional chiropractic couldn't seem to cure. But the decompression, offered by Dr. Kimberly Nelson at Integrated Spinal Solutions did!

Dr. Nelson attached a strap around my head and chin and I relaxed on a table. The decompression table used gravity to slowly pull the cervical "neck" bones apart. Three treatments helped me. If you haven't tried decompression you should know that it's pain-free. It actually relaxes you while it works. I fell asleep during mine.

Dr Nelson is part of the Integrated Spinal Solutions family of chiropractors. She works in the South Reno clinic, which is just around the corner from McCarren and Longley Lane, turn at Louie Ln.
If you know where Fitness Connection is, they are right across the street.

I recommend Dr. Nelson, and all the doctors at Integrated Spinal Solutions.

    Dr. Kimberly Nelson
Doctor of Chiropractic - Reno, Nevada

Dr. Kimberly Nelson was born and raised in Reno. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno where she studied Community Health Science. It was during her undergraduate studies, while she worked as a receptionist at a chiropractic office, when she was introduced to the philosophy of chiropractic. “I was so intrigued when I learned about nerve interference for the first time, and that the purpose of a chiropractic adjustment is to remove interference allowing one’s body to function optimally. As a receptionist, I was able to see firsthand the progression of a patient's health and listen to their everlasting gratitude. I fell in love with the idea of a non-invasive, holistic approach to healthcare and knew I had to impact people's lives the same way that the doctor I worked for did."

Kimberly Nelson is a Reno chiropractorThe new found love for chiropractic led her all the way to Davenport, Iowa where she attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2010. In the summer of 2013 she participated in a clinic abroad program in Fiji where she was able to treat locals who didn't have access to chiropractic care. Shortly after Dr. Nelson moved back to Reno to be with her family and do her internship under Dr. Daniel Welch. She graduated Palmer College of Chiropractic in February 2014 and is very excited to be serving the Reno area.

Have you seen Dr. Nelson? Why did you visit her? How was her treatment? Did you recover quickly? How many times have you seen her?

Reno Doctor of Chiropractic - Dr. Nicolas Riley

Dealing with back pain can be one of the most difficult types of pain to deal with. You are faced with constant strains, standing up, sitting down, bending, reaching, and even laying down can create pain for you. If it's driving you crazy, it's normal.

You can only deal with so much pain. And you can only take so many pain meds before you realize that you need professional help. When I was messed up with low back pain, I went to see Dr. Nicolas Riley. He said I had an injury to my lower "lumbar" region, and he recommended that I go through several treatments to repair the situation.

I was set up on the "spinal decompression" machine; a real strange contraption, that slowly pulled the spine to relieve the pain. It worked, and not only did it work, I have not needed another treatment in 18 months. I highly recommend it.

    Dr. Nicolas Riley, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic - Reno, Nevada

    (775) 829-8686

Dr. Nicolas (Nick) Riley Graduated from Western States Chiropractic College as Valedictorian. Before Chiropractic College, he studied Zoology at BYU until he found his passion was working on the spine in Human Anatomy courses while obtaining his Bachelor’s degrees in Human Biology.

Dr Nicolas RileyDr. Riley can be found at both Reno chiropractic offices and takes pride in showing patients pain relieving postures and stretches to help them get relief at home in between treatments.

Have you seen Dr. Nicolas Riley? What brought you into the clinic? What happened during your treatment, and what was your final result. Please add your comments to this page.

    Chiropractic Doctor in Reno

Finding a good chiropractor is not an easy task. Some of them have qualities I rather not mention.. if you can call them qualities. But there are some really good chiropractors living in Northern Nevada, and work right here in Reno, Caughlin Ranch, and Round Mountain.

Whether you are dealing with neck pain, or back pain, or chronic nerve pain, or headache, your chiropractor can help you. Talk with them about the pain, and how you "think" you did that. They will examine you, and after the evaluation, they will recommend several treatment options for your back pain.

In Reno, one chiropractic clinic is called Integrated Spinal Solutions. They have been helping people like you longer than most chiropractic clinics in this area. They have six doctors of chiropractic to help you, so there's usually not much of a wait.

Integrated Spinal Solutions is one of the few clinics that offer spinal decompression. This is a pain free way to adjust your spine. They also have may other medical techniques to help ease your pain.

Costs are lower than most procedures, talk to their billing department for the actual cost of your care.

This blogger uses Integrated Spinal Solutions. My personal chiropractor is Dr. Danial Welch, and I highly recommend him.

    40 Years Of Change

I just found my high school yearbook and I was looking through it; class of 78, when I noticed something. There was only one fat kid. 132 students graduated, and only one fat kid. Now, the tables have turned. Just go to Disneyland and you will see some of the largest people on the planet; paying 8 dollars for a hotdog.. but that's another blog for another day.

So back in '78, Gerry Rafferty on the radio, only one kid was fat, and now, just about everyone is over weight. And hey, wow!... just about everyone has back issues. If you check medical records from the 60's, very few people had back issues, that is a new condition for Americans; one that developed after the 1980's, when we moved into offices, sat down down in front of our first computers, and got lazy. We also used to have something called "P.E."

Farmers rarely had issues with their backs. They worked/ or work all day long. They are healthy, hearty people. So sitting may be the issue. Maybe we all need to get the hell up off the couch and do something.

When you do mess up your back, you can visit your doctor. They are professionals, so follow instructions, use your meds properly, and if the pain does not go away, head to the chiropractor for an adjustment. If your chiropractor finds that you are "too injured" for an adjustment, you may want to consider "spinal decompression". This procedure is available at Integrated Spinal Solutions in Reno, Caughlin Ranch, and Round Mountain, Nevada.

Dr. Xavier Martinez - Doctor of Chiropractic

An injury to your back may take a while to heal. You never know until you have a chiropractor look at your situation. For instance. I had a low backache, I think I sat too long at work, and I thought it would just go away. Every time I stood up the pain would send me to my knees. I told my regular doctor about it and he prescribed some pain meds. The pain did not go away. I had Dr. Xavier Martinez check my back and it ended up being a problem with my sacrum.

I went though spinal decompression therapy with Dr. Martinez. One treatment and I felt a lot better, but after three weeks, and 6 treatments later, I felt 20 years younger. No pain at all. Now after 18 months, I still have no issues.

If you are going though something like that, contact a chiropractor today. I recommend Dr. Martinez for obvious reasons. He has an office in Caughlin Ranch. Below you will find his contact information.

    Dr. Xavier Martinez
Doctor of Chiropractic - Reno, Nevada

    (775) 828-9665
Dr. Martinez has been treating patients for more than 20 years now. He graduated from the same college named after the founder of chiropractic, "Palmer College of Chiropractic-West" over in San Jose. After college, (Xavier) Martinez worked as Clinical Director of Preferred Chiropractic in Las Vegas and at another chiropractic clinic in Selma, California. Finally in '98, Dr Martinez and his family made a trip to the Reno area that changed his family, they fell in love with the Reno area and moved here.

Dr Xavier Martinez is a Reno ChiropractorEarly on in his career he realized the limitations chiropractic had when dealing with spinal disc injuries. Lacking a better option, he would refer non-responsive patients for spinal surgery. Unfortunately, the long-term outcome of surgery was not much better and, in a few cases, left the patients even worse. Frustrated, he sought another, more effective and certainly less risky option than surgery... and he found one.

Part of the solution came in the form of Spinal Decompression. This is a mechanical non-invasive means of reducing pressure on a bulging disc. Utilizing this technology, treatment outcomes improved but were not great.

Applying traditional chiropractic maneuvers along with Spinal Decompression seemed to aggravate the patients’ complaints. It became clear that bulging discs do not respond well to torque or twisting maneuvers, the hallmark of a traditional Chiropractic Adjustment. There has to be a better way...

Have you seen Dr. Martinez? What do you think of his staff and office, and the treatment your received? Please use this page to comment on Integrated Spinal Solutions of Caughlin Ranch. Thanks!

A Backache Is Not Just A Backache

You've had that nagging backache for a while now. You chalk it up to age don't you? It's not age. It's gravity. Humans have to deal with gravity, and after a while your spine gets a little compacted. That's when nerves get pinched, and you feel pain.

Covering up that pain is out first option. It's okay, but if you are doing that for more than a week, you need to go to the chiropractor.

In Reno, Integrated Spinal Solutions offers traditional chiropractic medical procedures. You can get relief from back pain, neck pain, headaches, and more.

Have you been to Integrated Spinal Solutions? What did you think about your treatment? Let us know. Post your comments below.

When NOT to Adjust a Chiropractic Patient

Here's the facts about chiropractic and whether or not you should get an adjustment in the first place. There's a lot of talk online about it; of course there's a lot of talk online about a lot of things; kennedy was shot by the CIA, and we have alien technology, etc. You have to wade through a lot of crap to find a lotus blossom. But it's worth it, when you find one.

I give you, one of those blossoms.

Your body has a way to tell you something is wrong. It's called "Pain". When something is wrong, your bodies pain sensors let you know something is wrong, and it's up to you to know what to do. Most of us grab some pain meds...

The meds are fine for a moment, but you have to understand that, you are supposed to address the source of the pain, not cover it up.

Let's say you have a back ache. It won't go away, it's been that way for at least a month. You can't remember what happened, only that you woke up one day and it hurt. Finally you do the doctor thing, they of course exam you. "It's a strain" they'll say, and then tell you to take some Motrin. I'll save you the doctors visit my friend.. it's not a strain, you have a "pinch" somewhere, and you really should be at the chiropractors.

A chiropractor seeks out the cause of the pain, traces it to it;s source, and then adjusts it.. that means they gently nudge the spine back into normal place. There are times when a chiropractor will say to you, "Oh, you are too messed up to adjust, you need spinal decompression, or EMS or Ultrasound therapy. If that's the case, you are messed up sister!

Best advice I can give you, is contact a chiropractor when you have a car accident injury, or a nagging headache, or backache. They have the knowledge you are seeking, and the ability to stop the pain instantly, which a normal doctor can only do, with a pain pill.

Low Back Pain and How To Treat It

When your lower back is out... you are messed up. That's for sure. Same goes for just about any part of your back, but your lower back seems to be the worse of all situation because of all the different bones that work together.

You average doctor will give you some pills for the pain, which is nice and all, but to be honest, your body gives you a little signal when something is wrong, that signal is "pain". We are supposed to feel pain, and then remove the source of the pain, not mask it with awesome drugs.

I know, I sound like one of those anti-drug types who thinks they can cure cancer with mold.. no, I am a normal everyday dude, who doesn't like to feel pain either. My solution for a back ache? Take the A-Train to the nearest chiropractor, and then after your adjustment, take the pill (if you need it) Otherwise, save the pills for some other day.

Your chiropractor can take care of most ailments, Now of course they can't cure cancer, or broken bones, or heart surgery, but believe me, when your back is out, or if your neck is out of alignment you can't do better than a chiropractic visit.

What can you expect at your Reno chiropractor? A thorough exam, and once that is done the doctor will recommend one or several types of treatment. Integrated Spinal Solutions offers spinal decompression, traditional chiropractic therapy, and other state of the art techniques to ease your pain, and get you back on the road to recovery.

Let us know what you think about spinal decompression, or tell us about your experience with Integrated Spinal Solutions.

When you get into a car accident, you have a lot to deal with. You may have damage to your car, insurance companies to deal with, and hopefully, very little medical issues. When you are injured in a car accident, contact your doctor right away. It may help your case. Once you know what is going on with your medical situation, contact a chiropractor to give you a once over too.

Chiropractors notice things about your spine that your normal doctor may have overlooked. A quick exam and possible adjustment may actually speed up your healing process. Leaving a part of your spine out of alignment can cause all kinds of problems.

Let’s say you just woke up, about a week after your car accident and you realize your neck hurts. What do you do? Most of us grab a pill, and try and forget about it. The problem with that is basically, your body gives you a little nudge, a pinch of pain to tell you that something is not right. When you cover it up it manifests in other ways. Before you now it, you can’t sleep, or your migraines are back.

Contact a chiropractor ASAP after a car accident, and let them give you a once over. IF you don’t have a chiropractor at this time, I recommend the nice people at Integrated Spinal Solutions. They have two clinics in Reno, one in Caughlin Ranch, and another in South Reno off Longley Lane.

This chiropractic clinic offers the latest chiropractic techniques and medical advances to help you heal quickly. Ask them about spinal decompression, and EMS therapy for pain.

Reno Chiropractor Adds Free Listing For Other Chiropractors

When you are looking for a chiropractor, you may have to rely on word of mouth advertising, who your friend went to. Advertising is very expensive, and some can afford it, while some cannot. One Reno area chiropractor has broken down the barrier for new startup offices, and complimentary businesses by creating an online app similar to the "yellow pages".

If you are a chiropractor, check out the directory listing app here, and add your office information. All listings are set to evenly rotate. Feel free to add photos.

This is not only for chiropractors, it's also for companies that offer holistic approaches to health. You can list your office if you are a physical therapist, a personal trainer, or health food outlet or gym, Anything that makes you healthier, please add your listing here.

Why would one doctor pay for another doctors advertising? Because the most important thing is your health. You need to be seen by a chiropractor at least 4 times per year. The doctor who posted this free directory has two offices in Reno. One in Caughlin Ranch, and one in South Reno. But let's say you never drive over that way, maybe you live in Sparks, NV. Maybe you want a chiropractor over there. Well, that's why. Dr. Welch believes that if you need a crack, you need a crack, regardless of if its him or by someone else.

Integrated Spinal Solutions is a full service, state of the art chiropractic clinic. They offer spinal decompression, and traditional chiropractic therapy, Check out this website for more information.

Length of Typical Chiropractic Treatment vs Surgery & Recovery

When you have a pain in your back that won't go away, every movement hurts. It can hurt to sit down, to stand up, lay down, or if you are like, the only thing I could do is lay on my right side and complain about how bad my back hurt. And sure, you take pills when that's going on, nobody's going to argue with that.

So when your back is "out" what do you do? I recommend going to the chiropractor first. Here's why. A chiropractor, let's say Dr. Martinez in Caughlin Ranch, let's say you go to see Dr. Martinez, and you tell him your back hurts. He is a long time veteran chiropractor. More than 20 years experience. He will examine you, check for damage with X-Ray, and if you need medication or more treatment, he will tell you to see your regular doctor.

Back pain usually is caused by strain, or by a slipped disc. If your cervical bone called the AXIS is out, you have problems moving your neck. If you told your doctor your neck hurt, he might tell you to use heat and cold compresses, and to take Motrin. A chiropractor would look at your neck, check for placement, and gently put the bone back in place. Next day, you feel fine.

Spinal problems can sometimes be fixed with Spinal Decompression. Before you agree to expensive spinal surgery, please consider spinal decompression. This technique works wonders for most patients. In just a few treatments, you can go from barely able to move, going to the gym and going the stairmaster on a few weeks, I kid you not. It happened to me.

Recovering from an injury of course depends on the patient and the extent of the injury. For instance, if you come in for decompression, you may feel better after one treatment, or you may have to come back every other day for a week, then twice in week two, then once a week for a month to achieve total relief.

Spinal surgery can be very expensive, but it does work wonders for some patients. Others report minor issues, If you are a candidate for surgery, your chiropractor will tell you. They won;t just start cracking away.

In Reno, Please consider Integrated Spinal Solutions in Caughlin Ranch, and in South Reno off Longley Lane.

Have you tried spinal decompression? What did you think about the experience? How did you injure yourself? How long did it take for recovery from surgery or decompression. Please comment below, LIKE US on Facebook, and if you enjoyed this posting, please FOLLOW US.

Reno Chiropractor Explains Traditional Adjustments vs Decompression Therapy

To crack, or not to crack, that's the real question. Your chiropractor is faced with that decision every day. One patient may have an injury that requires a little TLC cracking, and the same patient may need decompression on another day. It all depends on the injury.

Traditional chiropractic began in 1895 and since then it had become mainstream medical treatment, not some crazy idea. My grandfather took me to my first chiropractor as a child of 6. They were treating me for migraine headaches. Back then, everyone else in my family was like, "oh my god George, why are you taking your little grandson to the chiropractor? Aren't you afraid they will hurt him?" I remember my grandfather told them that they should try it, because it was working for his back.

I was adjusted in what must have been 1967. I went three or four times, I think, hell it was a long time ago, but I do remember this, the sound of the cracking. It freaked me out, but the chiropractor asked me, "did that hurt?" and I must have said no, because he continued to crack me here and there, turn me this way and that, and off I went to watch Dark Shadows.

After going to the chiropractor, my headaches disappeared until I was about 18. So I would have to say that chiropractic helped me keep my migraines at bay for all that time, and of course I still get migraines once in a while, but when I do, I go into Integrated Spinal Solutions in Reno. My Chiropractor is Dr. Dan Welch, really nice guy and fantastic chiropractor.

Spinal decompression is the latest breakthrough in spinal care. Doctors of all kinds recommend this for patients suffering with never ending back pain. It recommended for patients who may be considering spinal surgery.

This procedure does not hurt. It happens while you are on your back. Dr. Welch, or one of the other chiropractic doctors will strap you into a cervical or lower back decompression table and set a counter weight on the machine. This weight varies, and slowly pulls your spine apart, which allows pinched nerves to be relieved. Several sessions may be needed to completely repair herniated discs, or other low back problems. I personally needed 6 treatments to repair a displaced sacrum. (I fell on my butt snowboarding) but the good news is, I went from crawling on the floor in horrible pain, to jumping for joy and running around like a fool in 3 weeks. NO SURGERY REQUIRED.

What about you? What do you think about chiropractic? What was you first recollection of going to the chiropractor? Are you afraid to try chiropractic? Comment below, LIKE US on Facebook at Integrated Spinal Solutions and if you enjoyed this blog post, please follow us.

Step into the 21 Century with Spinal Decompression

(Use Old Man Voice): Back in my day... I use to go to the chiropractor, and he'd crack the hell out of me, Boy, I could hear every bone in my body crack. Scared the hell out of me, never went back... Course I saw Elvis that year play in Hawaii...

Yeah, that's what happened to a lot of people. They went to the chiropractors back in the 1970's and they think they know all about chiropractic care. First of all, traditional chiropractic care is still going on every day. I actually look forward to the crack once in a while. It relieves the pressure on nerve endings that are currently being squished by your spine.

Good news.. things are changing thanks to a new treatment called spinal decompression.

Have you heard of spinal decompression? Does your chiropractor offer decompression?

This 21 century medical miracle will change your outlook on life, really! Right now, if you are living with back pain, that never ending pain that never goes away, you may think that's just how you have to live.. Well, let me tell you something, brother.. you don't know diddley...

You can feel like a kid again with a few spinal decompression treatments. Your spine has been taking a lot of punishment over the years, and spinal decompression relieves that tension and puts your spine right back into place. Just lay there and relax. In just a few minutes you will be attached to the decompressor and you;ll feel better than when you came in. (Some injuries require several treatments)

The costs of this procedure are very affordable and it is covered by most insurance policies. Talk to your chiropractor about spinal decompression and how it can change your life. I recommend Dr. Daniel Welch, at Integrated Spinal Solutions in South Reno, off Longley Lane, or one of the other fine Doctors at Integrated Spinal Solutions in Caughlin Ranch.

    Chiropractic Treatment For Migraine Sufferers

Let me tell you.. I know migraines. I had one for 297 days straight. No, I'm not kidding. Almost a year with the same migraine. I still get them, but not like before. Now I am better, thanks to a combination of chiropractic care, and massage.

Migraine headaches take over your life. They can ruin a wedding, a special event, even your work schedule and even worse, your love life.

How to treat them, that is the question. Many people rely on pills. Got a pain, take a pill. I am one of those kind of people. My doctors used to prescribe pills by the hundreds, because he said I would go through them before I saw him in three months. So off I would go to the pharmacy to fill 500 pain meds, and 500 muscle relaxers, and then pills to help me sleep on those nights when the pain was too much.

I got off all those pills. I only take pain meds when I am really bad. But I noticed that the pills stopped working, and only chiropractic seemed to help.

Of course nothing can cure migraine headaches. You have to learn to manage them. They are part of me, and most likely when the conditions are right, they are part of your life too.

Take it from me, Chiropractic care can help your migraine. There is a new technique for migtaine sufferers, its called cervical decompression and massage. During this procedure, the patient relaxes on a table when the machine slowly pulls your cervical spine apart. This procedure is painless, and actually very relaxing. Many patients fall asleep during this treatment.

    When to seek chiropractic care

How long has that pain been nagging you? It's been a while huh? Were you expecting it to go away on it's own? There is a cause for the pain, and it doesn't go away just because you take a pill every four hours. You have to do something about the source of the pain. May I recommend chiropractic care?

Back in the old days, doctors would tell you to stay far away from the chiropractors, now-a-days you may be the waiting room sitting right next to the doctor while he's getting an adjustment. It is a widely accepted practice and certified medical profession. You can trust a chiropractor just like your general practioner.

Your doctor may say your pain could require surgery. They usually tell you to try chiropractic care first, before undergoing any surgical procedure. New medical treatment is available called spinal decompression which slowly seperates your back bones and moves then back into place.

If this is your first time let me be clear... No, this doesn't hurt. You are in pain right now, chiropractic adjustment relieves pain. Contact any chiropractor in the Reno area and schedule an appointment.

One of the many chiropractic clinics include Integrated Spinal Solutions in Caughlin Ranch and in South Reno on Longley Lane.  These two clinics offer spinal decompression and traditional chiropractic adjustments Monday - Friday and by appointment only on Saturday.

Dr. Daniel Welch took great care of me after a back injury. I thought it would be ok on its own, but it only got worse. Dr. Welch prescribed 6 spinal decompression treatments, and believe it or not, two weeks later I was not only feeling better, I could jump up and down. Absolutely amazing.. I kid you not!

Yes, Chiropractic Adjustment Relieves Back Pain

You may have a nagging backache, or pain when you bend over.. that may be caused by a couple of things. One things for sure, you don't need pain meds (usually) to deal with back pain. You can find relief in Chiropractic care.

Let's take a look at the spine, and see how you feel pain. First of all, you don't feel pain until your back has had enough. You may strain your back on a Monday, and not feel it completely until Friday. That can lead to all kinds of trouble because you don't know you are injured, and then you do other things that aggravate your back.

Most of us grad a pill whenever we feel pain, The root of the pain is usually a pinch on one or more of your nerve endings. Chiropractic treatment or adjustment opens those vertebrae and allows for normal function of the nerve ending. When you open that door, the pain goes out.

There are many ways a chiropractor can treat you. Each patient and injury is different, so one day you may come in with a backache, and the chiropractor may tell you to lay down on a table while you undergo spinal decompression, or another might give you an old fashioned adjustment. Other techniques include EMS, and Ultrasound therapy, Massage, or Physical Therapy.

Talk to your chiropractor today about your back pain. There are several chiropractic clinics available in the Reno/Tahoe area. I recommend Integrated Spinal Solutions; on Longley Lane, or in Caughlin Ranch.

What to do after a car accident

When you're in a minor car accident, your car can get pretty messed up, even at a low speed. You trade information with the other driver, then send it to the mechanic for all kinds of repairs - and you don't think twice about it.. it's your car. But what about your recovery? Is a quick trip to the doctor's for pain meds enough? You won't heal on your own. Maybe you should consider chiropractic care.

Most car accident victims report pains in the neck several days after an accident. These are caused by whiplash motions, where the head jerks forward or backwards after an impact. Patients suffering from neck pain should consider cervical spinal decompression therapy at Integrated Spinal Solutions in Reno.

Cervical spinal decompression is quite a mouthful, but it's also a miracle treatment for anyone suffering after getting hit while driving. During decompression therapy, you relax on a table while tension is applied to the top 7 bones of your vertebra. This is very relaxing for some patients, and a little scary to others. Just relax and let it happen.

Dr Xavier Martinez is a Reno area chiropractor. He and his partner Dr. Daniel Welch operate several chiropractic clinics in the Reno and Tonopah areas. Please consider their clinics: INTEGRATED SPINAL SOLUTIONS for your chiropractic care.

They use traditional chiropractic manipulation when needed to align your spine, but that is not the only technique used at this chiropractic clinic. You car accident treatment plan might include Ultrasound therapy, EMS Therapy, massage, or other technique.

Your car accident injuries will not repair themselves on their own. You need to have a specialist, like Dr. Nicholas Riley look at your spine and make sure you are not living out of alignment. Being out of alignment can cause all kinds of medical issues. Keep yourself feeling as young as you want to be. See your Chiropractor today!

    Chiropractic Treatment For Backache

How long are you going to live with that aching back? Are you going to live on pain meds forever? Don't you want to live your life free of pain and medication? Chiropractic can help you.

A chiropractor is able to help all kinds of back pain. You can get relief from neck and shoulder pain, middle back pain, low back pain, and even herniated disc, or sciatica nerve pain. Chiropractors use several techniques to achieve that end. Of course there is traditional chiropractic adjustment, and there's new treatment too; like spinal decompression, and ultrasound therapy.

Spinal Decompression uses gravity to relieve pain. The patient lies on their back, while a machine slowly decompresses your spine. Ultrasound therapy uses sound waves to stop pain. If you have any doubts about the benefits of spinal decompression, read what Web MD says on the subject.

You will find several location around Reno where you can get chiropractic treatment. I recommend Integrated Spinal Solutions with clinics in Caughlin Ranch, and one in South Reno off McCarren and Longley Lane.

Don't spend another moment in pain. Do something about it. Contact Dr. Dan Welch, or Dr. Xavier Martinez for more information. (775) 829-8666

Car Accident Injuries Can Be Helped With Chiropractic

-- You were just cruising along, minding your own business, then WHAM! Out of nowhere you get side-swiped by some kid texting and driving. Thank God you weren't killed.

Now you have to deal with the pain and suffering. At first you want someone to pay for all this, so you call a lawyer, and get them on the case. Most of you do this from the hospital bed.

Your doctor will give you X-Rays and run other tests to see what has happened, and then they usually write you a prescription for about 30 pain pills to ease the pain. You go through those in a couple of days (not recommended) and you call the doctor for another refill.

What you may not have considered is that you could use a chiropractic adjustment after a car accident. Think about this for a second. You were driving along at, let's say 50 miles an hour and then you are hit, and jarred around like crazy. Of course your spine, and your neck is all out of whack.

So here is what I would recommend. After you have been looked at by your general doctor, and after you have filled your prescriptions, contact a chiropractor for an evaluation.

Today, chiropractic care is not just a crack here or there, not it includes spinal decompression and ultrasound therapy. Doctors of all sorts recommend chiropractic for patients who are suffering from constant or nagging pain in the neck or back.

A car accident can be the cause of neck pain. If you were in a car accident recently, or some time ago, and you are experiencing headaches, or the inability to turn your neck, contact a chiropractor today,

In Reno, Nevada. Please consider Dr. Dan Welch, or Dr. Xavier Martinez, at Integrated Spinal Solutions.
