When NOT to Adjust a Chiropractic Patient

Here's the facts about chiropractic and whether or not you should get an adjustment in the first place. There's a lot of talk online about it; of course there's a lot of talk online about a lot of things; kennedy was shot by the CIA, and we have alien technology, etc. You have to wade through a lot of crap to find a lotus blossom. But it's worth it, when you find one.

I give you, one of those blossoms.

Your body has a way to tell you something is wrong. It's called "Pain". When something is wrong, your bodies pain sensors let you know something is wrong, and it's up to you to know what to do. Most of us grab some pain meds...

The meds are fine for a moment, but you have to understand that, you are supposed to address the source of the pain, not cover it up.

Let's say you have a back ache. It won't go away, it's been that way for at least a month. You can't remember what happened, only that you woke up one day and it hurt. Finally you do the doctor thing, they of course exam you. "It's a strain" they'll say, and then tell you to take some Motrin. I'll save you the doctors visit my friend.. it's not a strain, you have a "pinch" somewhere, and you really should be at the chiropractors.

A chiropractor seeks out the cause of the pain, traces it to it;s source, and then adjusts it.. that means they gently nudge the spine back into normal place. There are times when a chiropractor will say to you, "Oh, you are too messed up to adjust, you need spinal decompression, or EMS or Ultrasound therapy. If that's the case, you are messed up sister!

Best advice I can give you, is contact a chiropractor when you have a car accident injury, or a nagging headache, or backache. They have the knowledge you are seeking, and the ability to stop the pain instantly, which a normal doctor can only do, with a pain pill.
